Who are editors?

Editors can create styleguides, sync designs, and add content. They'll have a zeroheight account that they can log in to. You can find more information about editor permissions in our guide here. 

Invite editors to your organization

👉 Note: If you are on the Starter plan, you will be charged pro rata for the new editor seat. If you delete an existing editor and add a new one, you will still be charged for a seat

If you are on a higher plan, there will be a tally showing the number of editor seats available on your plan.

  1. Click the circle profile button at the top of your page and select "Your organization"

  2. Select "Members" along the sidebar

  3. Type the email address in the box, and click "Invite"
  4. The editor will receive an email to join the organization.

 

FAQs

I'm on the Starter trial. Will I be charged if I invite other editors?

No, we don't ask for payment details for the Starter trial. When the trial expires, you will lose access to the paid features and be on the Free plan. At that point, only the organization owner will be able to edit styleguides.

 

How does payment work?

You will be charged for your new editor seat as soon as you add it via the payment card registered on your account. 

If you remove an editor seat and then add a new one to replace it, you will still be charged as if this is a new seat. If you want to edit the email of a current editor, you should change the email address in the "profile" section of their account.

 

How do I remove editors?

You can remove editors at any point from the Members section of the 'Your Organisation' page. Click the bin icon next to their name to remove them.

 

If I remove an editor seat, will I be refunded?

No. Editor seats are non-refundable once added.

 

Do I need to invite editors by email if we have SSO enabled?

Yes, you still need to invite editors by email.

 

Can I be in more than one organization?

No, your email can only be used to access one account. You would need to use a separate email if you want to be part of multiple accounts.

 

What if the editor I'm inviting does not receive the invitation email?

Check with your IT team that your invitation emails aren't being automatically quarantined by your emails security, also ask your editors to check their spam/junk folders
