You can assign user permissions to users in your organisation based on the user's needs and the number of Editor/Reviewer seats available on your plan. Below are the user permissions available in zeroheight.

FAQs

What's an owner?

In the result of a downgrade to the Free plan, the user with the Owner tag is the sole user with access to the organisation. On the Starter plan, any Editor can be the Owner. On plans higher than Starter, only Organisation Admins can be the owner.

Can we change the organisation owner?

Yes, please email support@zeroheight.com

What's a viewer?

Viewers are users who visit your styleguide, they do not need a zeroheight account.

What if I'm unable to change a user's permissions?

If you're experiencing an issue changing a user's permissions, please email support@zeroheight.com and a member of our team will be happy to help you with this.

Does zeroheight support admin permissions?

Yes, plans above Starter have access to an Organization Admin that can manage seats and contribute to documentation. Additionally, select plans above Starter also have access to the Organization Manager role, which can set permissions but does not have editing rights (and will not count toward the seat number). If you're interested in admin permissions and have a Customer Success Manager, reach out to them to see what's available on your account. Otherwise, you can request a demo to learn more about admin permissions and other features available on our higher-tiered plans.

Is there a limit to the number users that can have each set of permissions?

There are no limits to the number of users with the Organization Manager or Workspace Manager permissions.

Limits to the number of users with the Editor, Organization Admin or Workspace Admin permissions are determined by the number of Editor seats on your plan.

Limits on the number of users with Reviewer permissions are determined by the number of Reviewer seats on your plan.
