FAQs
Does turning off Remote MCP remove access?
Yes. Disabling remote MCP access:
- removes the remote MCP details block from the viewer-facing Latest/work in progress release
- removes the remote MCP URL from styleguide settings and the editor view of the remote MCP details block
- immediately stops all existing MCP URLs from returning data.
If you re-enable it later, previously generated URLs will start returning data again.
Can I permanently revoke existing URLs without disabling Remote MCP?
Yes. Use Disconnect all current MCP sessions to permanently invalidate all previously generated MCP URLs.
Remote MCP can remain enabled, but anyone who needs access must fetch a new URL from the styleguide settings or MCP details block.
