Improve the writing in your documentation
Improve with AI helps you to improve the writing in your documentation. Select the text you want to improve and choose from the various options to modify it.
Like all AI-powered features in zeroheight, a team admin needs to enable AI features via team settings before the Improve with AI is available for all users.
How to use the Improve with AI
Select the text you'd like to improve and click Improve with AI and you'll see multiple options.
Whichever option you select, new text will be generated that preserves the original intent and adheres to tone of voice instructions (if they exist). You can also jump to configuring these instructions via the Set tone of voice option in the menu. See below for more details about each options:
- Make shorter
- reduce the content length by ~30%
- Make longer
- expand the content length by ~50%
- Summarise
- Summarise the essential information
- Fix spelling and grammar
- Only fix mechanical spelling and grammar issues
- Improve writing
- Enhance the writing by improving clarity and flow
- Simplify language
- Use simpler, more accessible language
Once you click select an option, your original content is struck out and new content will be streamed into the page. You know content is still being generated by the Generating content modal that shows on the bottom left of the editor.
If you attempt to change tab while the content is being generated you'll see the following warning:
Once the content has completed generation, you'll see an option to Accept, Reject or Retry at the bottom of the page (or each tab, if tabs were created):
Accept replaces the original content with the new content.
Reject removes the generated content and returns the original content to its previous state.
Insert below keeps the original content in its original state and adds the content below the selection.
Try again sends the same prompts to Improve with AI and content is streamed in again.
If you navigate to another page without selecting an option, the content is automatically accepted. Once accepted, generated content can be edited like any zeroheight content.
