The zeroheight Assistant for Slack brings your design system documentation into your team's Slack workspace. Send release notifications to channels and ask the AI Assistant questions about your styleguides.
Plans and availability
- Available on zeroheight Enterprise plans only

Requires Admin access to your Slack workspace and at least one styleguide in zeroheight
Setup
- Go to Settings → Team → Integrations in your zeroheight account
- Under the Slack header, click Connect (or Reconnect if already connected)
- Check Enable AI features in your Slack workspace to activate the AI Assistant (optional, see disclaimer below)
- Authorize the zeroheight app in your Slack workspace
How it works
Release notifications
When you create a release in a styleguide, zeroheight can automatically send notifications to your chosen Slack channels. Set this up in your styleguide settings under Integrations.

AI Assistant questions
Invite @zeroheight to any channel and ask questions about your design system:

The Assistant can access all content in your styleguides, including private pages and password-protected styleguides.

FAQ
Can I use release notifications without AI features? Yes. The AI features are optional - you can use just the release notifications if you prefer.
Does this work in private channels? Release notifications only work in public channels. The AI Assistant works in both public and private channels once invited.
Can I connect multiple zeroheight teams to one Slack workspace? No, the Assistant can only be connected to one zeroheight team per Slack workspace.
What can the AI Assistant access? The Assistant can answer questions about all content in your styleguides. It cannot access analytics, user management, or billing information. We don't store your questions or the Assistant's responses.
Can I connect to both Slack and Microsoft Teams? Yes, the zeroheight AI Assistant can be connected to both Slack and Microsoft teams simultaneously. Release notifications can only be sent to either Slack or Microsoft Teams for now.
What if the Assistant gives incorrect answers? The AI is continuously improving but may make mistakes. Always verify important information with your design system team.
Is this a Slackbot? Yes, this counts as a Slackbot and so has the high security standards and ease of installation associated with the Slackbot ecosystem.
