When you connect your Azure DevOps account, you can access files from any repository you can access in GitHub — including private and public repositories from the projects you have access to.

How to connect to Azure DevOps
Azure DevOps is connected via individual user accounts. Access is controlled via individual user profiles.
Cloud-based accounts

Go to Your Profile and select Integrations from the left-hand navigation pane, and click Connect next to Azure DevOps

Select your Authentication method. The recommended method is to sign in with your Microsoft account, alternatively you can use your personal access token but this method is being retired by Microsoft in December 2026.
- If you select Microsoft account, you will be redirected to to the Microsoft sign in page and once you have signed in, you will be redirected back to zeroheight where you'll see your account has been connected.
- If you select personal access token, you'll need to enter a personal access token you generated in the Azure DevOps organisation you want to connect. Details on how to generate a personal access token can be found here.

Who has access to a connected Azure DevOps account?
Azure DevOps accounts are connected at the user level. Only the user who connected their Azure DevOps account can see the repos and the files they contain within zeroheight unless you have shared your integration. Other users within a team will only be able to see files that have been added to zeroheight somewhere.
What happens if I connect the repo and then I'm no longer part of the zeroheight account?
When you connect Azure DevOps to your account, it's only connected to your zeroheight account. If your zeroheight account is deleted, the Azure DevOps connection is made redundant.
