There are three ways to update your designs in zeroheight:
- resync using the zeroheight plugin for Figma
- Update existing designs that are already in use in your styleguide
- Syncing all design items from your Figma files using the file URL
Update existing designs in your styleguide
If you only want to update the designs that have already been used in your styleguide, follow these steps:
1) Select the …
2) Select Update Figma files
This option will sync only the designs that have already been used in your styleguide. New items that you haven't used in the styleguide won’t be synced with this update. If you want to sync all Figma files and design items, see the options below.
Sync files or pages using the plugin
1) Open Figma
2) Open the zeroheight plugin for Figma (you can get the plugin here)
3) Sync the Figma file (or individual pages)
Update individual Figma files using the file URL
To update a specific Figma file using the file URL, you have two options:
Option 1: From the styleguide
1) In your styleguide, select Design from the toolbar
2) Next to your design file, select Update file
Option 2: From the Resources page
1) Go to Resources
2) In the right-hand corner of the Figma file you want to update, select Update items

Does the zeroheight/Figma integration sync all Figma layers?
Yes.
If I delete a design file from Resources, is the content removed from my styleguide?
The content will still be in the styleguide, but it will be considered "orphaned" and cannot be updated.
If I re-add a file that was previously deleted, and then I continue to update and sync in zeroheight, will it updated the previously synced content?
No, if you re-add your design file, it will import new content altogether. Any content previously in your styleguide will not be updated and needs to be re-added.
Can I sync multiple design files at the same time?
No, due to recent updates to Figma's REST API to improve overall stability, only one design file can be synced at a time per user.
